And different it was! Among the raccoons, one stood out like a beacon - an all-white, albino raccoon, a sight so rare it's estimated to occur in only one out of every 750,000 raccoon sightings.
"I couldn't believe my eyes," @Thebeandips' dad recalled. "It was as if this beautiful creature had appeared from another world."
But here's where it gets controversial... or at least, statistically improbable. Albinism in raccoons is believed to be a 1-in-10,000 to 20,000 occurrence, but the odds of actually spotting one in the wild are even more astonishing - a mere 1-in-750,000 chance!

"The encounter was incredible, but the eye contact was something else," he said. "It was as if the raccoon was as curious about me as I was about it."
